Not to disappoint

I got a 32/30 on my economics test. Everyone else in the class did so bad that the professor curved it two points, and since I got a perfect score, I now have a 103% in the class.

Friday night I went to Elks because my roommate was doing a dance there. It was pretty good. We left for a while and went to HJs, but eventually went back. I wonder if people checking IDs know the difference between 86 and 84. I don't think so.

Saturday morning, this is going to sound hardcore, but I woke up and started tailgating before the Griz game. I love how all these companies in Missoula do business. They set up a tent, put up a banner, and hand out free beer. It was awesome.

The game was great, and UM won.

Saturday night I went salsa dancing. I was pretty surprised I felt like drinking, but it ended up being a fantastic time. If I can get a hold of a picture, I will post it on here.

Not to disappoint my readers who aren't advocates of such a fun weekend, I will try to spend today doing homework.

Lewis and Clark

There is a Halloween/Salsa party this Saturday night that I will be attending.

I'm going to take salsa as a class next semester.

I hate being a freshman in the first semester because I don't have a GPA.

I am moving out of the dorms at the end of this semester. I will probably just move into the Lewis and Clark Villages, but it will still be leaps and bounds ahead of the dorms.

The dorms are great for meeting people, and I've met a tone of great people in the dorms. Great people live in Aber. But I don't need the dorms to meet people anymore.

I can't stand this tiny room. I miss my house. I miss my bed. My bed here sucks. My mattress pad always slides off the side, and there is no way to keep it down because the sheet thing that wraps around it doesn't fit around the original mattress. It pretty much angers me beyond control at three in the morning. Not only that but it is really small and there is this stupid thing that makes the bed into a couch, which only makes it feel smaller.

Nobody flushes the toilet around here either. I don't understand that one at all. Its pretty disgusting. I usually yell obscenities at people if I don't hear them flush the toilet.

Sicknesses spread like the Avian Flu in the dorms.

I got a 95% on my PSC test. Whoopty Doo. Three tests, three As. I missed Economics today though, so I'm not sure what I got on that test. I was pretty confident though.

Just for fun, here is my schedule.

Don't bother

I can never think of anything to post on here.

I never feel like posting anything on here, and I'm not really sure why.

The streaker during the football game this weekend is noteworthy, I guess.

I took two midterms last week, and I was supposed to find out how I did on one of them today, but I didn't get to because the professor didn't finish grading them. This is eerily reminiscent of high school, agreed?

I haven't been in good health at all during the past two weeks. That might be part of the reason this blog has basically died. I have been really sick, and I compound the problem by never getting enough of sleep.

My phone no longer works, so don't bother calling. I'm trying to rectify this situation.

What does that tell you

Guess who's back, back again
David's back, tell a friend

I can't stay away from this blog. It's who I am and what I do. Well not quite, but this blog has definitely become a part of my life that I don't want to go on without.

Thanks for the comments, they changed my mind. I really wouldn't be writing this right now if I didn't get all those comments. I read something like this in my political science book, "Candidates have every word scrutinized during a campaign." So I might as well start now.

My hits have gone from 95 in one day to zero for the past three days. What does that tell you?

Anyway, here comes the updates.

I'm now the Recruitment Chair for the University of Montana College Republicans. I'm a natural recruiter. Recall what happened to the Manhattan BPA Chapter. I'm pretty modest too. No, really, I am.

I went to Colville, WA last weekend. It was Saturday morning and my neighbor was leaving to go home to work on his car. I quickly gave my football ticket away and hopped in the car. I like road trips. I like going to places I haven't been. I like being spontaneous and unpredictable.

Washington is a great example of a state government out of control. They have ridiculously low speed limits. The police can pull people over for not wearing their seat belts.

I am totally against any kind of seat belt law. This is America, we are free. Our freedom isn't supposed to be absolute, but we are supposed to be free until we are hurting someone else. How does one person not wearing his/her seat belt harm anyone else? A seat belt law is such a great example of a tyrannical government. Liberals constantly push for laws like these.

A cell phone law is a little more sane. When one person is talking on a cell phone, that person is endangering other drivers lives. It is a little more sane, but not much. I'm still opposed to it.

I oppose most laws just on principle. I pretty much hate laws. We shouldn't have to go through our lives constantly thinking about laws and regulations. We should not have to worry about this stuff. The government has the power to make our lives easy, but the Dems constantly think we need laws.

"Anyone who is willing to give up freedom for a little safety doesn't desrve freedom at all."

Missoula has so many parking regulations it gets ridiculous. And guess what? Missoula is liberal as all get out! You actually have to have a residential parking permit to park in neighborhoods. People have to pay to park in front of their own houses.

People here do not believe in the power of the invisible hand that Adam Smith wrote about-the free market.

The Future

From here on out, this blog will contain nothing about my day to day activities. It will not contain my grades on exams, or what I do on the weekends.

It will be about politics and my beliefs.
